COD Modern Warfare 2: Gameplay footage leaked

The very first gameplay footage of the upcoming highly anticipated COD Modern Warfare 2 has allegedly been leaked online. 

COD Modern Warfare 2 is probably the most hyped and talked about COD game on the horizon and leaks and rumours don’t seem to stop. While Activision did confirm the game’s existence by dropping a brief logo reveal trailer, leakers seem to be sharing quite a lot of information surrounding the game.

Earlier this week, tipsters revealed that the DMZ mode in Modern Warfare 2 would have an internal marketplace allowing players to sell and exchange items such as skins, blueprints and other items. 

Now, a brand new and the first COD Modern Warfare 2 gameplay footage has surfaced online, giving players a taste of what’s to come. This certainly has taken most by surprise as no one saw this coming.

There had already been rumours that COD Modern Warfare 2 is in some closed beta and the developers will be coming out with a new trailer or details surrounding the game.

While Activision has yet to share any information about the game’s state, a new gameplay leak has surfaced online, giving us a brief glimpse of what’s in store. The leaked gameplay footage of COD Modern Warfare 2 comes via Reddit, where a user posted a short ten-second clip that showcases a player examining their gun and reloading. 

The footage is blurry and not much can be made out of it. However, it seems like the player is in a multiplayer match, waiting to go guns blazing into the match. The backdrop is comparable to the Verdansk map, with a couple of houses near a desert-like terrain.
