Clear message sent to Nottingham Forest as Sheffield United star insists 'we are to be feared'

Morgan Gibbs-White insists they are the team to fear in the play-offs as they prepare for a huge game at home to Nottingham Forest on Saturday. The Blades welcome Steve Cooper's side to Bramall Lane in the first of a two-legged semi-final with a place at Wembley at stake for the winners.

United enter the campaign in good form with three wins on the bounce and having picked up 10 points from their last 12. There is little between these two sides with both fixtures during the campaign ending in 1-1 draws.

Gibbs-White does not believe there is a favourite, but does believe Sheffield United are the 'more hungrier'. Pointing to the most recent form and a 'winning mentality' he believes his side have what it takes to get through the promotion shoot-out.

He said: "I wouldn't say there is a favourite, we are definitely more hungrier. I feel like with the games we have had and with the form we have been in we are the most feared team right now.

"The way we are as a team, the way we want to win, we love winning and we have a really big winning mentality. I just feel like we have a very experienced team to get us through these play offs."

Manager Paul Heckingbottom, although under no illusions about the size of the challenge that waits, was comfortable with the way Gibbs-White was speaking in today's pre-match press conference, insisting he wants his players to understand how big the occasion is.

"We are going to say that. We want that belief and we want to play in a way that represents that," he said. "We know we are not just playing a team in form we are playing a good side.
