Christopher Jullien finds piece of Celtic history in house clearout but he helped Hoops go one better

Former Celtic star Christopher Jullien discovered a piece of Hoops history when clearing out his house.

The French defender is back in France with Montpellier after leaving the Premiership champions last summer. A serious knee injury robbed him of over a year of playing time, which hampered his ability to force his way into Ange Postecoglou's plans, with Carl Starfelt and Cameron Carter-Vickers the established centre back pairing under the Aussie.

But prior to that under Neil Lennon, Jullien was a mainstay of the Celtic defence that brought home the Treble Treble. The defender didn't actually join the Hoops until after it was secured with a Scottish Cup final victory over Hearts that summer. However, he played a big part in their next trophy win on the way to another Treble, scoring the winner against Rangers in the League Cup final. Celtic went on to add the league title and another Scottish Cup to create history.

With his time in Glasgow now behind him, Jullien is moving on and moving out, it seems. But he still enjoyed finding a memento from his time in the east end of the city, even if he wasn't strictly involved in the success being celebrated.

He posted a picture of a specially made medal the club commissioned to give to players and staff as a thank you for your efforts. The display box marks the Trebles won in the 1966/67, 1968/69 and 200/01 seasons, as well as the more recent campaigns, including the "Invincibles" one under Brendan Rodgers.
