Christine McGuinness talks about 'old flames' after Paddy drama as she returns to home city for new job

Christine McGuinness has been sharing her excitement for her new radio job with her Instagram followers. "Join me and @wesbutters every morning this week @radiocity967 LIVE from Liverpool," Christine said ahead of her debut.

And Christine marked her first appearance on radio by admitting she was "so scared" during her first job. The BBC documentary maker said: "WhatsApp us! +44 7763 769 306 @ar.ran on the traffic and travel #DreamTeam." The mum-of-three is filling in on Radio City, along with Wes Butters.

Christine, 35, told Wes and listeners: "My first job was at Liverpool Airport. Only lasted about two weeks because I wanted to be an air hostess and then I realised I was scared of flying so... I liked the uniform, though, so I kept it". Wes replied: "I'm noticing, though, you don't stay at places very long like school, Liverpool Airport.

He then jokingly said: "Are you going to last the week here?" And then went on to ask Christine if she thought there would be any "old flames that will come out the woodwork once they hear you on Radio City this week."

To which Christine laughed and jokingly replied: "There's a whole cemetery out there waiting". Christine recently came in for some flack when it was reported she was away from home when her ex-husband Paddy McGuinness had a recent birthday, which was not to be the case

She had already jetted back to the UK days before and helped the couple's three children get ready to celebrate their daddy's birthday. Wanting to put the record straight, Christine took to her Instagram Story and said she would "spill the tea" before showing what was left of Paddy's birthday cake
