Cheltenham Festival LIVE results and tips from Day Three including Stayers Hurdle

Day three of the Cheltenham Festival is here with two feature races, the Ryanair Chase (2.50) and the Stayer’s Hurdle (3.30).

Last year’s Stayers’ Hurdle winner Sire Du Berlais is back aiming for a third Festival win at the grand old age of 12 years-old. He will be seeking to fend off last year’s nearly horse Teahupoo and grand old stagers Paisley Park and Dashel Drasher.

Rachael Blackmore - victorious in a chaotic Champion Case yesterday - will be hoping to win another Ryanair Chase on Envoi Allen with Stage Star the main danger.

Willie Mullins landed his 100th Festival winner yesterday and will be after more Cheltenham gold with Facile Vega in the opening Turners Chase (1.30) and the well-backed Icare Allen in the fiercely-competitive Pertemps Hurdle (2.10). The well-touted Brighter Days Ahead bids to show she’s the top prospect in the Mares’ Novices Hurdle (4.50.)

Garry Owen has had one 9/1 winner already this week and he has two good priced bets to the tough handicaps on day three - the Festival Plate (4.10) and the Kim Muir Challenge Chase (5.30.)

We will bring you the hot tips, latest news and racing results right here in our LIVE blog across all four days with the Cheltenham Gold Cup the main event on Friday.

The best backed British horse for the Mares' Novice (4.50) Dysart Enos is out this morning. She's woken up slightly lame.

One word for you - Soft!

We've now dropped the 'Heavy' from the description and the New course - which is being used for the first time this week - is 'Soft.'

Well, if you've been complaining about too many odds-on winners this week, there won't be too many of those today!
