Chelsea's "cowardly" owner Roman Abramovich has been slammed by Gary Neville for his attempt to remove himself from the spotlight.

The pundit launched a scathing attack on the Blues boss following his announcement he was relinquishing "stewardship and care" of the club to its charitable foundation.

It comes after the Blues lost Sunday's Carabao Cup final against Liverpool following a nail-biting penalty shoot-out which went to the wire as Kepa Arrizabalaga missed the club's 11th spot-kick.
