Chelsea legend Petr Cech says he is 'devastated' at the ongoing situation in Ukraine as the club's owner Roman Abramovich has been hit with sanctions by the UK Government over his ties to Vladimir Putin.
The Stamford Bridge outfit were plunged into chaos on Thursday when sanctions were imposed on their owner, meaning the Blues can no longer sell tickets or merchandise, buy or sell players or offer new contracts.
It has led to the club's sponsors Three, Hyundai and Zapp temporarily suspending their contracts with the club, leading to Sky Sports having to make a unique decision during their coverage of Chelsea vs Newcastle.
And technical director Cech has opened up on the ongoing situation in Ukraine and inside Stamford Bridge.
Abramovich is attempting to sell the club which he purchased in 2003 for £140million from Ken Bates – who has also had his say on the situation.

Ex-Chelsea owner Ken Bates has slammed the sanctions placed on the Blues and Roman Abramovich.
Bates, who bought the club for just £1 in 1982 before selling to Abramovich 19 years later, sarcastically claimed Vladimir Putin will be "s******* himself" over the fact fans can't buy a matchday programme at Stamford Bridge.
He also said the sanctions will lead to "ordinary people suffering" as he launched a scathing attack on the sanctions that have been imposed.
