Here is your Chelsea morning digest on Saturday, March 5.

Prior to Chelsea's FA Cup win against Luton Town on Wednesday night, Roman Abramovich announced that he would be selling the west London club after almost two decades in charge.

Abramovich confirmed that the Blues were set to be put up for sale in an official statement to the club’s website.

Despite this, Gary Neville argues that Chelsea will be able to cope in the absence of the Russian billionaire.

"The reality is Chelsea will be okay and obviously he’s got the money," Neville told Sky Sports News.

Jamie Carragher, on the other hand, believes that the post-Abramovich era could mean there won't be any quick fixes should the club continue to make expensive mistakes in the market.

"It may sound premature to say the party is over once Abramovich completes his sale, but the next revolution at Stamford Bridge will involve readjusting to a world in which Chelsea have joined the ranks of most Premier League clubs - knowing if they make expensive mistakes there is no quick fix," he wrote.
