Chelsea's season has taken a curious turn in recent weeks.

While the Blues have shown promise in matches away from Stamford Bridge with impressive wins at Southampton, Real Madrid and against Crystal Palace at Wembley, when they've played in front of their own fans they've collapsed.

The 4-2 home loss to Arsenal on Wednesday was the latest example, with the Blues wide open in defence during a dismal display. It was the second home game in succession in the Premier League in which they've conceded four times, following the 4-1 loss to Brentford.

Fans will want to see the team put that right this weekend as they host West Ham United.

Chelsea transfer target Declan Rice has reportedly rejected a new contract offer from West Ham United.

The England international has emerged as one of the best central midfielders in the Premier League this season and Hammers boss David Moyes has recently suggested Rice would be worth £150 million in the transfer market.

However, the prospect of Rice leaving the club in the summer appears to have increased and the Blues will no doubt continue to be linked with a move for him. The 23-year-old was previously in the Chelsea academy as a youngster and has spoken about supporting the Blues growing
