Chelsea fans concerned as Tuchel’s ‘Octagon pattern’ v Southampton is spotted

Chelsea suffered their second defeat of the new Premier League season away at Southampton on Tuesday night.

Thomas Tuchel’s side took the lead in the 23rd minute through Raheem Sterling, only for 18-year-old Romeo Lavia to level the scores shortly afterwards.

Adam Armstrong then netted what proved to be the winning goal for the Saints on the stroke of half-time.

The screenshot has understandably concerned Chelsea fans, some of whom remember a similar pattern emerging during Frank Lampard’s final games in charge of the Blues.

Let’s check out some of the reaction:

Chelsea legend John Terry, meanwhile, took to Twitter on Wednesday morning to express his concerns.

“I hate seeing us get beat,” Terry posted,
