Chelsea agree £12.6m deal for Inter Milan midfielder Cesare Casadei

Chelsea have agreed a £12.6m deal with Inter Milan for midfielder Cesare Casadei.

The Blues will pay a further £4m in add-ons for the 19-year-old and have offered a six year contract with his medical pending this week.

Casadei, 19, is yet to make his senior professional debut for Inter, but is viewed as one of the hottest prospects in Italian football and Chelsea had a £6m bid turned down for the youngster earlier this summer.

‘He’s training with the first team, he’s proving to be at a very good level.

‘Right now I can only talk about him in positive terms as he’s above average for his age, and after that a lot depends on him.
