Chatham Town switch their focus back to league action tonight after another standout weekend in cup competition.

A 3-0 win over Plymouth Parkway on Saturday put Chatham into the fourth round of the FA Trophy, where they will face Carlisle United next month.

Hake said: “The focus for us is staying grounded, recovering well, and continuing to build on the momentum we’ve created.

“Following the draw (on Monday night) our attention very quickly turns back to league action.

“Potters Bar visit the Bauvill and we know that will be another tough test.”

“It’s a convincing scoreline against a good side, and to progress into the fourth round of the FA Trophy for the first time in the club’s history is something everyone connected with Chatham Town should be proud of.

“The players handled the occasion brilliantly and showed the quality and maturity they’ve been developing all season.”

Hake thanked the fans for playing their part too.
