Charlie Nicholas floats Celtic bust-up claim as he hits Alfredo Morelos with merciless Rangers jibe

Unimpressed pundit Charlie Nicholas has told Alfredo Morelos time is up because he reckons fellow pros know the Rangers striker cannot run.

The Colombian forward's weight has come under scrutiny and it is claimed Celtic star Greg Taylor branded him 'fatboy' during Monday's pulsating 2-2 draw at Ibrox. And Nicholas has urged Rangers boss Michael Beale now is the time to cut ties with a player who is free to talk to other clubs. "Fellow pro footballers know he can't run. He might have had two headed chances from bad defensive play, but he was never a threat with his movement. I couldn't believe Beale didn't bring on Antonio Colak."

And Nicholas admits he wasn't impressed with what he witnessed in the green corner when it came to the efforts of Josip Juranovic. The World Cup star with Croatia endured a torrid day after he replaced Greg Taylor at left-back. Some onlookers pointed to his fitness level and unfamiliar role, however, The 61-year-old reckons a flare-up within the dressing room is a distinct possibility due to the Chelsea and Atletico Madrid target's nightmare on the pitch.
