UFC lightweight king Charles Oliveira wants to make history by fighting Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor on the same night.

While he may have been stripped of the UFC lightweight title after missing weight for UFC 274, the MMA world recognises Charles Oliveira as the best 155er on the planet. ‘Do Bronx’ managed to drop and submit Justin Gaethje last weekend in front of his hometown fans, adding ‘The Highlight’ to his incredible list of conquests that includes Kevin Lee, Tony Ferguson, Michael Chandler and Dustin Poirier.

Unsurprisingly, a cavalcade of fighters have been calling him out since Saturday night in the hope of landing a meeting with the number one contender.

Two individuals who have flirted with the idea, and haven’t been turned away by the Brazilian, are Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor.

The rivals aren’t exactly in winning form right now but when you possess the kind of star power they do, it’s not hard to see why they garner so much attention.

In the following tweet, Oliveira actually posed a question to UFC president Dana White regarding the feasibility of fighting them both in the same evening – and we’re not so sure he’s kidding.

“Just for the record, I like to break records and I want to break another one… Fighting twice in same night. I can knock Conor out, and make Dias tap. What do you think @danawhite ?”

If anyone can make something like this work, we’re pretty sure it’s Charles Oliveira.
