'Chaos' - Jon Dadi Bodvarsson gives Bolton Wanderers dressing room view of Burton Albion loss

Jon Dadi Bodvarsson admitted Bolton Wanderers were 'all over the place' in the loss to Burton Albion after conceding three goals inside 18 minutes.

In windy and wet conditions and a far from optimum pitch, the Brewers went ahead thanks to Joe Powell's close range finish after eight minutes and things got worse shortly when John Brayford headed past James Trafford.

Wanderers then went three down on 18 minutes when Brayford headed home his second of the game as Bolton conceded three goals from set pieces.

Bolton improved a bit after the break and reduced the deficit late on when Dion Charles came off the bench to grab one back before full-time, but Wanderers ultimately tasted defeat at the Pirelli Stadium.

Bodvarsson frankly admitted there was 'seven minutes of madness' which cost Bolton and killed the encounter for them.

And he believes Wanderers must bounce back quickly from the disappointment when they take on AFC Wimbledon this Saturday.

He said: “It was simple, in the first half there was seven minutes of madness there on set pieces where we just weren’t good enough. That killed us in the game.

“Second half was tiny bit better, at least we managed to defend better from set pieces but there is a lot to improve on.

“This happens, we have to bounce back, and we are still on a good roll.

“We just need to stick to things we are good at and keep going.

“It was just chaos on our part. We were all over the place. You can do that against a team like Burton, whose game is based around set pieces and long balls.
