Channel 4 to launch new reality TV show this year – and it's set in the north west
E4 is launching its fresh reality TV series set in the heart of Liverpool, aptly named It's A Scouse Life. The show puts a group of stylish friends under the microscope as they navigate the peaks and troughs of life in modern Merseyside.
The Liverpool Echo has exclusively learnt that the city's answer to The Only Way is Essex and Made in Chelsea will have its inaugural episode aired next month. Set to pick up where Married at First Sight UK leaves off, It's A Scouse Life will debut on E4 with its first episode transmitted on Tuesday, November 12.
Channel 4's zeal for spotlighting Merseyside is clear with their new venture into entertainment. Genna Gibson, the commissioning editor, shared her anticipation saying: "Channel 4 has a celebrated history of showing Liverpool on screen, which makes it all the more exciting to bring this latest reality project to viewers on E4 to show modern Liverpool in all its glory."
