Championship wrap: Smallbone on the mark for Saints

Republic of Ireland midfielder Will Smallbone was among the goals for Southampton as the Saints beat Leeds 3-1 in the Championship's early kick-off.

Adam Armstrong's opened the scoring in the second-minute goal with a brilliant goal, before Smallbone doubled the advantage, meeting the byline pullback near the penalty spot to pass into the net off the post.

Armstrong's shot deflected in off Pascal Struijk four minutes later before the Leeds defender pulled one back.
