Champions League pots confirmed for group-stage draw 2022/23
The pots for the Champions League group-stage draw have now been finalised following Wednesday night’s play-off ties.

Rangers will join Celtic in Pot 4 after they sealed a 1-0 victory over PSV Eindhoven in their play-off tie on Wednesday.
Champions League holders Real Madrid are in Pot 1, while last year’s beaten finalists Liverpool are in Pot 2 alongside Chelsea and Tottenham.
Premier League champions Manchester City are in Pot 1 alongside Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, Ajax, Porto, AC Milan and last season’s Europa League winners Eintracht Frankfurt.
In Pot 2, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Sevilla are the three Spanish clubs, while RB Leipzig and Juventus are also included.

The Champions League draw will take place on Thursday at 17:00 BST in Istanbul.
The group stage runs over a nine-week period from September 6 to November 2 in order to accommodate the World Cup in Qatar.
