Champions League draw LIVE as Rangers find out their third qualifying round foes

The road to Seville was long and winding for Rangers last season as the Glasgow giants clocked up an astonishing 19 games.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst will be praying there will also be an extended European season this time around.

Today Rangers will find out who they will face in the Champions League third qualifying round as the Ibrox side eye taking their place among Europe’s elite for the first time since 2010.

They will be desperate to join Celtic among the big boys as Rangers’ UEFA heroics over the past couple of campaigns helped put Scottish football back on the continental map.

Rangers could face any one of five sides in QR3 – Ligue 1 club Monaco, Belgians Union Saint-Gilloise, Austrians Sturm Graz, Danish outfit Midtjylland or AEK Larnaca of Cyprus.

And should they dispose of their opponents then van Bronckhorst’s men would then stand just 180 minutes away from the £30million-plus group stage.

The draw starts at 11am in Nyon, Switzerland and you can follow every ball being pulled out – plus all the reaction.

If they can see off Midjtylland - Larnaca could be an option.

And they battled out an entertaining 2-2 draw against APOEL Nicosia in a friendly ahead of they trip to Denmark for the first leg of their second round qualifier which will be the the club’s debut in this competition.

Rangers came up short at this stage last season but their confidence is supercharged after their run to the Europa League Final.

Will Gio van Bronckhorst be able to get the side he starred for as a player back to European football's top table?

We'll soon find out who stands in the way.

Rangers take on Livingston at the Tony Mac before their first leg and then face Kilmarnock at Ibrox before the second
