It has been a quiet start to the January transfer window for Brendan Rodgers - and Celtic fans are desperate to see more new faces arrive.

The Celtic boss hasn't been shy this season in talking up the need for additional quality to arrive in Glasgow's east end as they look to strengthen their grip on the Scottish Premiership title - after going into the winter break eight points clear of Rangers. Philippe Clement looks set to add to the addition of Fabio Silva this month and Rodgers will look to bring in new faces to Celtic Park with the title race set to go all the way with their rivals having two games in hand.

However, there will also be a requirement to clear out some of the fringe stars with Rodgers admitting that the squad was too big this season. That has thrown the future of a number of forgotten men into doubt with the midway point in the January sales fast approaching.
