Celtic transfer diary as Paulo Bernardo follows Jota pathway and time runs out for Karamoko Dembele

It could be a jam-packed transfer window for Ange Posecgolou this summer.

The window opened just days ago but Celtic have the Champions League to prepare for and a Premiership title defence at the top of the agenda.

Jota is top of the wish list as he edges closer to a permanent transfer return.

Record Sport exclusively revealed that the club are still in discussions with the player over wages and length of contract.

After the successful move last summer, reports in Portugal suggest that Celtic are looking to repeat the trick this summer with a bid to land Paulo Bernardo.

The Benfica midfielder is currently on international duty with the Portuguese under-21 side, but the Parkhead claim that talks on a loan with a £7million option to buy next term were had.

Carter-Vickers is due to be away with the national side until June 15, but Celtic could trigger their option to buy in the deal with Tottenham before that date.

There have been several outgoing players in recent days with Luca Connell, Ryan Mullen and Kerr McInroy all being released at the end of their Parkhead
