Celtic transfer bulletin as Ajeti and Soro FINALLY spark bomb squad exits and loaded claim skewered by club icon

Hopeful Celtic punters are craving incomings but the final days of their transfer window could be boosted by shifting the deadwood.

And one man who is set to go is Albian Ajeti who has no future in Glasgow's east end amid a nightmare three years in green and white. Turkish upstarts Gaziantep are reportedly in talks with the striker who has netted a paltry nine goals in 47 appearances before his loan at Sturm Graz last season. Ajeti has been bombed out this summer but his torrid Celtic era is nearing the closing chapter.

Gaziantep Gunes claims the Switzerland international will travel to Turkey on Wednesday and seal his Parkhead exit if talks progress. The Super Lig side have toiled in the early stages of the campaign with three defeats out of three and view Ajeti as a potential spark in the final third of the pitch. Meanwhile, Beitar Jerusalem are confident of sealing a deal for Celtic misfit Ismaila Soro this week after their manager promised three new signings.

Soro is in talks with Celtic to mutually terminate his contract which still has a year to go after being frozen out under his last two managers, Brendan Rodgers and Ange Postecoglou. And the Israeli side are increasingly confident they will finally land the Ivory Coast midfielder after trying for over a month now, following their opening league game defeat to Hapoel Haifa.

Manager Yossi Abukasis said: "We are working on it. There are several candidates that I hope will not run away from us at the last second. I hope that at least three players will join in the coming days." Beitar thought they had secured Soro, who spent last season on loan at Portuguese outfit Arouca, earlier this month, but he opted to move to French second-tier outfit Valenciennes instead.
