Celtic strongly deny 'unacceptable' Green Brigade claim as they reveal full details of Fir Park rap sheet

Unimpressed Celtic have demanded supporters heed their latest warning in the wake of complaints over a pro-Palestine banner and more misdemeanours away to Motherwell – as they strongly refuted a claim about the ultras.

The hierarchy have been left frustrated by the recent 'End Zionism' banner which was raised by the Green Brigade before the 1-1 draw with Kilmarnock earlier this month. The club and the ultras have been at loggerheads over the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, with the fans' group vocal and visual backers of the plight of the Palestine people. And the club scoffed at any notion the ultras speak on behalf of the club and branded such claims as "unacceptable".

The Green Brigade were banned for multiple matches before a truce was called between club and their most vocal section at home and away games. But Celtic's concern stretches beyond the latest banner which sparked complaints. The club have also made clear their displeasure over ticketless fans trying to enter the 3-1 win away to Motherwell. Images showed yobs smashed seats and plastered Celtic stickers over the away end.
