Celtic's resounding 4-0 win in their Premiership opener against Kilmarnock has got some diehard Hoops on the Hotline convinced that their team will go out and defend their crown at a canter.
Brendan Rodgers' side followed up their impressive pre-season campaign where they downed Premier League giants Chelsea and Manchester City by ruthlessly dispatching Kilmarnock at Celtic Park to get off to a flyer. Goals from Reo Hatate, Liam Scales, Nicolas Kuhn and Anthony Ralston marked flag day in the best possible manner and took some of the heat off the Celtic hierarchy for the perceived lack of transfer activity so far this summer.
James Robertson, Alabama, said: "Opening game was an impressive outing for Celtic. Four goals by four different players, forwards helping with defense and a clean sheet. I noticed a more cohesive team, a team that is thick as grits, and this unity will see them accomplish even more success this season."
