Celtic star provides injury return clue as he's spotted in training footage

Wishaw's David Turnbull appears to be closing in on a return to Celtic action after he was spotted back in training.

The midfielder hasn't kicked a ball in anger this year after suffering a hamstring problem in December's League Cup final against Hibs.

He's been a big miss for Hoops boss Ange Postecoglou, but a return could be on the horizon.

A Celtic training segment focused on right-back Josip Juranovic was uploaded to Instagram, but Motherwell's record-fee holder could be seen training in the background.

Postecoglou was hopeful Turnbull would return to training after Monday's Scottish Cup tie with Dundee United, and that has come to pass.

His team face Ross County in the Premiership at Parkhead this weekend but it remains to be seen whether the playmaker is fit enough for involvement.

Turnbull faces a race to be fit for April, where the Wishaw ace will hope to feature in crucial matches against Rangers and more.
