Celtic squad revealed as Ange Postecoglou to freshen things up at Motherwell as Benji Siegrist in line for rare start

Ange Postecoglou is likely to make a few alterations from the weekend demolition of Hibernian when Celtic face Motherwell in the quarter final of the Premier Sports Cup.

With a league clash with Hearts and the penultimate game in their Champions League group at home to Shakhtar Donetsk looming, the Australian is set to keep his side fresh in the cup tie at Fir Park.

Hat trick hero James Forrest is expected to keep his place as the veteran winger now aims to nail down a regular starting berth in the side, having had to settle for cameo appearances earlier in the season. Benji Siegrist is set to come in for Joe Hart in goal, in what will be only his second appearance for Celtic, having featured in the 4-1 victory against Ross County at the end of August. Full backs Alexandro Bernabei and Anthony Raltson were also handed rare starts at the weekend as the Hoops ran riot against Hibs, and the pair are likely to see further involvement tonight with regular starters Josip Juranovic and Greg Taylor set to be rested.

Sead Haksabanovic was replaced at half-time on Saturday, but the Montenegrin international is likely to start again tonight, where he could operate as part of a midfield three. Japanese forward duo Daizen Maeda and Kyogo Furuhashi are also both set to feature, with the latter having netted in the league meeting with Motherwell earlier this month. Greek target man Giorgos Giakoumakis has been in fine form with three goals in his last three matches, but the 27-year old is also likely to be given a rest ahead of the trip to Tynecastle on Saturday.
