Celtic can make Scottish Cup history with Dundee United win as never seen scenario comes into focus

Celtic can make a piece of history if they defeat Dundee United at Tannadice on Monday night, as they'd complete a semi-final line-up never seen in the Scottish Cup before.

Having already won the Premier Sports Cup, Ange Postecoglou's side are looking to make it back to Hampden for a crack at reaching a second domestic cup final.

If they go through they'd join city rivals Rangers, as well as Hearts and Hibs - and incredibly that has never happened in the Scottish Cup.

Celtic have lifted the trophy 40 times and been runner-up a further 18, while Rangers have won 33 and lost in the final 18 times.

Hearts have gone all the way eight times and fallen at the last hurdle on a further eight occasions, with Hibs winning three and losing 12 finals.

But while we've seen three of the four, the biggest sides from Scotland's largest city and our nation's capital, in the semi-finals they've never made up the last four.
