Celtic announce Kyogo merchandise partnership with Japanese club as half-and-half scarf unveiled

Celtic and J-League club Vissel Kobe have partnered up to release Kyogo Furuhashi-themed merchandise.

The Japanese international - alongside fellow countrymen Reo Hatate, Daizen Maeda and Yosuke Ideguchi - has brought a legion of fans from his country with him on his journey at Parkhead as he turns himself into a Hoops hero. His debut season after joining from Vissel last summer, despite a four-month injury lay-off, brought about 20 goals on top of Premiership and League Cup glory.

Both clubs will look to cash in on this target market by offering fans some unique products based on the forward. Vissel Kobe said 'The first collaboration goods designed by Kyogo Furuhashi will be on sale from tomorrow (today)' while the Hoops commented 'We are excited to launch our collaboration with Vissel Kobe, the old home of our number 8 Kyogo.' The Glasgow club's products can be bought now.

Both clubs are offering half-and-half scarves, with Celtic's featuring both club badges while Vissel's has the player himself wearing both kits.

There's a key chain, mugs and tea towel on offer across both the Japanese club and Scottish champions.
