Celtic and Rangers roundtable as Chris Sutton and Barry Ferguson answer 10 big Scottish Cup questions

It's Derby day in Glasgow once again as Celtic and Rangers duel for a place in the Scottish Cup final.

Victory in the match could put the Parkhead club on course for a fifth treble in six seasons while Giovanni van Bronckhorst's men will be on a high after their Europa League quarter final success on Thursday.

Both sides will have fond memories of the fixture but Ange Postecoglou's men have had the better of the previous two meetings.

Old Firm heroes Chris Sutton and Barry Ferguson give Record Sport their verdicts.

1. What’s your favourite Old Firm memory?

CHRIS: I’ve got two. Scoring inside the opening minute of the 6-2 game was a special moment and an incredible day. But it’s a tie with my last-minute goal scored at Celtic Park to complete the green and white wash, when we pumped Rangers in all five games that season.

BARRY: That’s a hard one. Scoring my first goal against them at Ibrox was special. But the best of all time was the Scottish Cup Final in 2002. We were 2-1 down in the second half when I scored with a free-kick before Peter Lovenkrands got the winner in injury time. That was the very last touch of the ball, in the last minute of the last game of the season against our biggest rivals. It actually doesn’t get any better than that.

2. Where will this one be won and lost?

CHRIS: On the pitch. Seriously? I’m looking at the Celtic penalty box. If they can defend their area the way they did at Ibrox then it could be a tough day for Rangers as Celtic have the attack to hurt them at the other end. There are fascinating battles all over and it could come down to Jota against James Tavernier, Greg Taylor v Joe Aribo as the wide areas will be crucial.
