The latest series of Celebrity Race Across the World.sees model and media personality Kelly Brook is currently on our screens travelling across South America with her husband. The celebrity edition of the hit BBC One show puts teams to the test as they race towards a finish line thousands of miles away without the aid of air travel or modern-day conveniences.

The 12,500km race sees famous faces like model and presenter Kelly Brook and her Italian husband Jeremy Parisi navigate their way from the Amazon Rainforest to the Andes with only a tiny budget, map and a massive backpack. At 44, Kelly Brook started her modelling career at just 16 and she quickly became a favourite in lads' mags such as GQ, Loaded and FHM.

After making several TV and film appearances, she now hosts Heart London Drivetime and Saturday Breakfast. But it was during their epic journey across South America that it was revealed that Kelly Brook isn't even her real name.

Model Kelly Brook's actual name is Kelly Anne Parsons. She was born as Kelly Anne Parsons but took on Brook when she started her modelling career.

Kelly explained that she has never officially had Brook on her passport despite everyone knowing her by that surname.

She said: "Kelly Brook doesn't actually exist, it's not even a real name, it's never even been on my passport or anything. In my mind, I'm Mrs Parisi, Jeremy's wife."
