CCTV image released as search for missing boy, 17, enters second week
Police have issued a new CCTV image of a missing teenage boy who was last seen more than a week ago. Officers in Oldham say they are 'still seeking information' on missing Kalem.
The 17-year-old was previously seen on Wensleydale Close, in Royton, at 6.30pm last Monday (November 25). In an update issued today (Wednesday), Greater Manchester Police says he was seen the following day, on November 26.
At the time, he was seen carrying a black Matein branded backpack, with distinctive red tabs and a carabiner clip on the rear. GMP says it is 'still seeking information' on the missing youngster.

In a new CCTV image released today, Kalem is shown wearing black clothing and a black face mask. He is described as being white, of slim build and with brown hair. He has two distinctive moles on the left side of his neck.
In a previous appeal, GMP said Kalem could be wearing a black coat with fur on the hood, black gloves and a blue beanie hat. He could also be wearing blue trainers, possibly Nike or Skechers branded, and he may have a grey baseball cap with him.
Anyone who sees Kalem is urged to come forward as soon as possible. In an emergency situation, call 999.
A GMP Oldham spokesperson said previously: "We are becoming increasingly concerned and want to make sure he is safe and well. Any information, please contact our officers on 101 quoting log 31 of November 26, 2024."
