Passengers injured as two Bee Network buses crash in Greater Manchester
Two passengers suffered injuries following a crash involving two Bee Network buses in Bolton. The two buses were involved in a collision on Bury Road, in Breightmet, at around 9.20am this morning (December 4).
Images from the scene showed the front of a single decker bus appeared to have collided with the rear of a double decker bus. Shattered glass can be seen on the road.
The front bumper of the single decker bus also appears to be damaged. Both casualties were treated at the scene, Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) confirmed.

An investigation is underway. A TfGM spokesperson said: “At around 9.20am on Wednesday (December 4) we received reports of a collision between two Bee Network buses on the A58 Bury Road in the Breightmet area of Bolton.
“Two passengers were treated at the scene for minor injuries, and we want to wish them a speedy recovery. Safety remains our top priority and as such we are naturally concerned about this incident and are working with the operator to investigate the circumstances of the collision.”
