Catherine Tyldesley posts update following the birth of her baby girl

Catherine Tyldesley announced she had welcomed her second child with husband Tom Pitfield last Thursday, and she's updated fans with an insight into home life following the family's delightful news. Former Coronation Street star Cath has shared a jokey Instagram post about her attachment to her PJs.

She shared the relateable meme: "Pyjamaphile: A person who must put their PJs on the second they get home, otherwise they will never be comfy." And she added: "This is me. Legit. And I am not one bit sorry."

Cath announced the birth alongside an adorable first photo of their daughter's tiny feet. And she wrote: "We are so happy to announce that our beautiful daughter has arrived. We are grateful beyond words and feel overjoyed that our family is complete."

The actress, who played Eva Price in Corrie from 2011 to 2018, announced the joyous news that she was expecting back in October. The couple also have a seven-year-old son Alfie.

The star from Walkden also took to Instagram to wish her friend and former Strictly Come Dancing professional partner Johannes Radebe a happy birthday, saying she 'can't wait' for the dancer to meet their 'little lady.' The pair formed a close friendship while tearing up the dancefloor on the BBC dance show in 2019.

She wrote: "Happy Birthday to one of Gods ‘Earth Angels’ - to one of the most special humans I’ve had the honour of meeting. My beautiful, talented friend @johannesradebe.
