Cardiff v Zebre Live: Kick-off time, team news and TV channel

Cardiff have handed debutants to six new players as they kick off their United Rugby Championship season against Zebre at the Arms Park on Friday night.

Matt Sherratt's side welcome the Italian outfit - who won just once last year - to the Welsh capital this evening with a host of new faces in the side.

Wales fly-half Callum Sheedy is handed a start for his hometown club after joining from Bristol, partnering fellow new signing Aled Davies - after the Wales scrum-half signed from Saracens.

There's also a debut in the backline for Iwan Stephens, while the pack sees first appearances for Danny Southworth, Josh McNally and Dan Thomas.

Former Leinster prop Ed Byrne and South African scrum-half Johann Mulder are also in line for their first competitive appearances off the bench.

Four of Wales' summer contingent - Cam Winnett, Mason Grady, Ben Thomas and James Botham - feature, with Grady and Thomas reverting to their favoured club positions.
