Cardiff v Dragons Live updates: Team news, TV channel and kick-off time

Cardiff welcome the Dragons to the Arms Park on Boxing Day as both sides look to end 2025 on a high.

The two clubs have endured very different years both on and off the pitch, with Cardiff narrowly missing out on the play-offs months after going into administration.

Now once again back trying to make the top eight of the URC, the Blue and Blacks will be looking to bounce back from last Friday's frustrating derby defeat to the Scarlets.

Corniel van Zyl has named the 23 players as last week - with Rhys Barratt, Rory Thornton, Alex Mann and Taulupe Faletau promoted to the starting side.

As for the Dragons, 2025 looked to be heading towards a year of misery on the pitch.

The Dragons had failed to win their first 19 matches of the year - only to suddenly find winning ways with victories over Lyon and Connacht.

Their first consecutive victories since March 2022 will give them hope they can end the decade-long run of defeats to Cardiff.

The Men of Gwent are able to welcome back Wales internationals Aaron Wainwright and Thomas Young to their back-row.

Kick-off is at 3pm, with the match being broadcast on BBC Two Wales and Premier Sports 1. You can also follow all the action in our live blog below.
