Cardiff City take on Rotherham United in their second home league game of the campaign.

The Bluebirds kicked off their season with a 2-1 win over Peterborough United before being held to a goalless draw away at Port Vale. Brian Barry-Murphy also oversaw his team advance through to the second round of the Carabao Cup after a 2-1 triumph over Swindon Town in midweek, meaning the Bluebirds boss remains undefeated. Rotherham, however, have had a more mixed batch of results, winning on the opening day against Port Vale before losing to Stevenage away in their second fixture.
