Mark Hudson takes charge of his game as interim Cardiff City manager today as the Bluebirds welcome Burnley to the Welsh capital.

Cardiff lost to Huddersfield Town last time out, leaving them in 18th place in the table but still within striking distance of the play-off spots, such is the way the tightly-packed Championship table lies.

But that defeat was enough to see the end of Steve Morison's reign as Bluebirds manager, which lasted less than a year in total. Hudson is now tasked with getting City further up that table in this very congested period of fixtures, while the Bluebirds consider options for the role of the full-time manager.
