Cardiff City transfer news live: Updates on Gareth Bale as he prepares to make decision and Bluebirds linked with striker

Cardiff City's transfer window has got off to a rip-roaring start and is showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon.

The Bluebirds have already brought in eight players on permanent deals and are keen to up that number, hopefully before the end of the week.

There is also, of course, the small matter of Gareth Bale and the talks ongoing between Cardiff and his representatives. Lots of clubs are understandably keen on his signature, however the Bluebirds, his hometown club, are in the mix with a decision thought to be imminent.
