Cardiff City press conference Live: Updates as Steve Morison previews Reading clash and Swansea City fall out continues

It's not been the easiest of weeks for Cardiff City.

Many in the capital will still be reeling from the 4-0 humiliation suffered at the hands of bitter rivals Swansea City in the South Wales derby last weekend, and boss Steve Morison will no doubt be hoping for a response from his side.

The Bluebirds travel to Reading on Saturday, having won just one of their last three trips on the road. However, their form over the last few weeks, the mauling to the Swans aside, has been pretty good.

City went the entire month of March unbeaten under Morison's leadership, a record that even saw him pick up the Manager of the Month award. That will come as some comfort on the back of what's been a tricky week, although there will likely be further dissection of Cardiff's derby disaster later this morning.

This week has also seen talk of new owners bubble to the surface, with reports in the national media suggesting that as many as three investors have shown an interest in taking the reins from owner Vincent Tan. Morison may well have a view on all that too, as well all the latest team news ahead of the trip to the Royals.
