Cannabis grow with 96 plants uncovered with man due to appear in court

A cannabis grow with 96 plants was uncovered by police in Bolton. A property on Harwood Vale, in Harwood, was raided on Monday afternoon (October 2).

GMP said officers found a cannabis farm inside, which consisted of 96 cannabis plants. A man was arrested on suspicion of the production of cannabis and abstracting electricity.

Police shared pictures of the cannabis farm before confirming that Jack Haslam, of Harwood Vale, has been charged and will appear in court on Tuesday (October 3).

A post shared by GMP Bolton said: "This afternoon, officers from the Bolton North Neighbourhood Team executed a warrant on Harwood Vale in Harwood. A cannabis farm was located, consisting of 96 cannabis plants.

"A 22-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of production of cannabis and abstracting electricity. Jack Haslam (25/09/2001) of Harwood Vale has now been charged with these offences. He will appear at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates' Court tomorrow."
