'Can't wait' - Nottingham Forest fans make 'revenge' claim as Reds prepare for Sheffield United in play-offs

Nottingham Forest fans want to seek "revenge" for a historic defeat to Sheffield United when the two sides meet in the Championship play-off semi-finals.

Forest were held to a 1-1 draw at Hull City on the final day, setting up a semi-final clash with the Blades after they beat Championship title winners Fulham 4-0 at Bramall Lane. It means the two sides will meet in a repeat of the 2003 Division One play-off semi final fixture, a game which the Yorkshire outfit won in extra-time.

Goals from David Johnson and Andy Reid put Forest ahead in the second-leg at Bramall Lane, although Michael Brown and Steve Kabba pulled Blades level after the hour-mark. Paul Peschisolido and a Des Walker own gave United the advantage in extra-time and the Blades held on to reach the play-off final despite conceding an own-goal from Robert Page.
