Camryn Rogers wins 5th straight title at Canadian track and field championships
Camryn Rogers won her fifth straight national title with a victory in the women's hammer throw at the Canadian track and field championships on Thursday.
Rogers delivered a top throw of 76.17 metres, beating out Jillian Weir (69.50) and Jinaye Shomachuk (69.27).
Rogers continues to dominate the hammer throw event.
Last week, the Richmond, B.C., native won the Lone Star Grand Prix event in Texas.
The reigning Olympic and world champion posted a winning throw in the third round of 79.36m at Texas A&M University in College Station.
Rogers was coming off a victory at the Paavo Nurmi Games in Turku, Finland, where she surpassed the 80-metre mark for the third time this season.
The 27-year-old hasn't lost a competition since June 3, 2025.
