Calvin Ramsay watched first Aberdeen goal on repeat as buzzing star reflects on year long journey

Buzzing Calvin Ramsay can't believe it's been a year since his first start for Aberdeen.

And after he marked the occasion in style by firing in a stunning opening goal against Dundee, the teenager says he can't stop watching his moment of magic back.

The 18-year-old came in from the right and thumped in a fantastic strike to put the Dons in front at Pittodrie.

It was a proud moment in front of his family as the whole clan came out to watch him in action.

The result wasn't what Jim Goodwin 's team wanted as they were twice pegged back to draw 2-2 and their top six hopes are now out of their hands.

But it was a special day for Ramsay as he said in an interview with Red TV that he has watched his goal back more than once.

He said: "It was a special moment for me. All my family were at the game, I had six family members there, so it was special to score that and have them all there to see it.

"I've had quite a few shots cutting in on my left this season but to get that goal was special.

"I've watched it back a few times. It was good play from Ross to find me and then Vinny (Vicente Besuijen) has made a great run that created it all.

"I hit it and it went in, thankfully! I was buzzing."
