Callum Hudson-Odoi asks to leave Chelsea with four clubs battling for loan deal
Callum Hudson-Odoi has told Chelsea that he wants to leave the club, with a quartet of clubs battling to sign the forward on loan.
The 21-year-old appears to be out of contention in the first team at Stamford Bridge, not included in the squad as the Blues beat Everton 1-0 in their opening game of the season on Saturday.
The England international is keen to get first team football elsewhere and Sky Sports report that he has informed the club he wants to leave.
The report states that his representatives have been given permission to negotiate a move and there is no shortage of interest in Hudson-Odoi.
European giants Juventus and Borussia Dortmund are keen on the winger, while Sky Sports suggest two Premier league clubs want him on loan.
Those clubs are believed to be Southampton and Leicester City, with transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reporting that the Saints have already asked Chelsea about a move.
The decision will now come down to where Hudson-Odoi wants to spend the season on loan, with the likes of Juventus a more glamorous proposition, but the game time he is looking for more likely at somewhere like Southampton.
