CAF begins countdown to 2023 AFCON in Cote d’Ivoire

The Confederation of African Football (CAF), yesterday, began its countdown to Africa’s biggest event; the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations holding in Cote d’Ivoire next year.

The 2023 AFCON will bring together Africa’s top football stars from January 13 to February 11.

With yesterday marking exactly 100 days to kick-off, excitement to the biggest event on African soil has reached feverish pitch, with the Ivorian nation eagerly anticipating welcoming the 24 national teams as well as the rest of Africa to its shores for the 34th edition of the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

The Super Eagles of Nigeria is among the 24 teams that will do battle at the 2023 AFCON.
