By the numbers | Mamelodi Sundowns' remarkable dominance of South African soccer
Mamelodi Sundowns co-coach Rulani Mokwena refutes the notion that winning a league title is "easy" after the club secured their fifth consecutive DStv Premiership crown on Wednesday.
The Brazilians only needed a draw against visitors Cape Town City at Loftus Versfeld, and by the end of the final whistle, they were rejoicing as the match ended with neither side rattling the back of the net.

It took Sundowns' points tally to 58 with four league games remaining, with second-place Royal AM 13 points adrift in what has been a one-horse championship title race.
In the Premier Soccer League (PSL) era, which kick-started in 1996, Sundowns have collected a mammoth 12 titles, while rivals Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs are tied in second with four league wins each.
Due to the Brazilians' domestic dominance, Pirates' last title success was the 2010/11 season, while Chiefs last reigned supreme seven years ago.

Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates - 4

Sundowns have netted 50 goals, 13 more than the next side in the league (Royal AM), while having conceded 14 times - the lowest of any club.
Added to that, with four league games remaining, Peter Shalulile is five goals away from breaking a 17-year goal-scoring record held by Collins Mbesuma. The Zambian scored 25 goals during the 2004/05 season for Kaizer Chiefs, while Shalulile is on 21.
Mokwena and Manqoba Mnqgithi, meanwhile, have won their second league title as as co-coaches, equalling Stuart Baxter's feat achieved with Kaizer Chiefs.
