According to The Mirror, Chelsea have been offered the chance to snap-up Emiliano Martinez from Aston Villa for £45million. The 32-year-old goalkeeper has recently been linked with a move to United as Amorim looks to bolster his defence.
The report indicates Villa could be forced to cash in on Martinez to remain compliant with the Premier League's spending rules. It's said that Unai Emery's side are aware that the Blues are in the market for a new shot-stopper.
The Mirror adds that the Argentina international would prefer a switch to Old Trafford over Stamford Bridge. But, Amorim reportedly has other priorities, unless he can find a club to take Andre Onana off his hands.
