Bryan Gil opens up on Tottenham January transfer discussion ahead of Valencia loan move

Bryan Gil has revealed that he spoke with Tottenham about joining Valencia on loan after his agent contacted him regarding an offer from the La Liga club. Linking up with Spurs last summer on a permanent deal from Sevilla, the 21-year-old was in and out of the side in the opening few months of the campaign as he tried to adapt to the pace and intensity of the Premier League.

Wowing on his debut against Cadiz in the Copa del Rey, the winger played a key role in Los Che's run to the final, unfortunately tasting defeat last Saturday with Real Betis triumphing in the showpiece finale.

Now getting the regular game time under his belt that both he and Tottenham wanted, the highly-rated youngster has opened up on his time back in La Liga.
