Bruno Guimaraes issues exciting seven-word message that Newcastle fans will love

Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimaraes has issued an encouraging message on Instagram following the Toon’s latest win at the weekend. 

Eddie Howe’s side’s hopes of keeping their Premier League status received a big boost on Saturday in what was a promising trip to the capital as they beat Brentford 2-0.

And January signing Guimaraes got his longest taste yet of Premier League action for his new club after coming on for the final 26 minutes of the game at the Community Stadium.

After the three points had been secured, the 24-year-old posted on Instagram of his joy following the important win against their fellow relegation-battlers.

The Brazilian uploaded a number of photos from the game including a dressing room image of the whole squad celebrating their win which was captioned: “What a team!!! Come on @nufc. +3 points.”

Prior to the game on Saturday, the Brazilian had only made three appearances under Howe, amassing a combined four minutes across the games having only featured for very late cameos (via Transfermarkt).

And since the arrival of the £37.89m signing, the Magpies have seen major improvements from the likes of Jonjo Shelvey and Joe Willock, with Joelinton also proving a big part of Howe’s midfield.

Willock netted his second goal in as many games on the weekend as the 22-year-old doubled Newcastle’s lead in the first half to continue his fine run of form after what has been a difficult campaign on the whole.

With Joelinton also getting his name on the scoresheet against the Bees, it seems Guimaraes will have to bide his time before being given a starting opportunity in Howe’s XI.
