Bruno Fernandes admits Manchester United fans were within their right to chant 'you're not fit to wear the shirt' as their side were humiliated 4-0 by Brighton in the Premier League. Ralf Rangnick's side were torn apart by their opponents on Saturday evening in a dire defeat which finally ended any hopes of qualifying for the Champions League this season.

Moises Caicedo gave Brighton the lead at half-time before they struck thrice more after the break. Within minutes of the restart, Marc Cucurella netted to double their lead before Pascal Gross and Leandro Trossard both grabbed goals of their own to further emphasis the gulf in quality on the day.

United supporters inside the stadium berated their side in the second-half with a chorus of 'you're not fit to wear the shirt'. After the defeat, Fernandes admitted they deserved such savage treatment.
